Conformation Type
A dog bred to a certain written standard. The ideal dog is bred to the standard with no faults, deviations, or blemishes as described and layed out by the dog's written standard also known as the dog's "breed Standard" Each major kennel club has their own version of this as to what they will and will not accept. But 90% of the standard is generally universal among all clubs. the only variations that change are in coat length, color or pattern that the individual club considers acceptable. Each club has it's own idea of what a dog should look like. so just because your dog does not "conform" to standard does NOT mean your dog is lesser then a show dog. It just means the dog is unjudgable in a conformation show due to it's individual faults or deviations.
